When listening to the various movements, have the student describe the music (high/low, loud/soft, fast/slow, etc. See if they can guess the animal being depicted by the music before they are told or read the title! In addition, have the student's discuss the various animals, in terms of size, habitat, speed, diet, personality, as well as physical characteristics.
